I don’t know

“Would you like to know your future? If your answer is yes, think again. Not knowing is the greatest life motivator. So enjoy, endure, survive each moment as it comes to you in its proper sequence—a surprise.” ~ Vera Nazarian

Before and after my recent national TV appearance, which you can view here, I spent a lot of time in solitude grounding myself for whatever happens—or does not happen—next.

I am still in that reflective time—embracing the joy of new possibilities and letting go of old ways of being that no longer serve my growth.

Many of my clients and friends are in this “waiting time”—wanting their new dreams to manifest. Some feel guilty, or impatient, for not knowing what is next.

I say, based on training in neuroscience and wisdom gained through my spiritual journey, that these words “I DON’T KNOW” are some of the most powerful words to embrace.

Not knowing gives us the chance to truly create anew. When we focus on what we already know, we often end up repeating the past.   The gap time between the old ways of being and the new is our most creative, fruitful time. And yes, this period of staying in the unfamiliar causes angst, for it means we need to let go of control.

The trick is not to focus, or base progress, on external circumstances during this time of unknowns. It may look like nothing is changing on the outside, yet the internal transformation that comes from staying with the pause can be life-altering.

In the words of Henri J. M. Nouwen, from his book, Life of The Beloved:

“I have found it very important in my own life to try to let go of my wishes and instead to live in hope. I am finding that when I choose to let go of my sometimes petty and superficial wishes and trust that my life is precious and meaningful in the eyes of God, something really new, something beyond my own expectations begins to happen to me…To wait with openness and trust is an enormously radical attitude toward life.”

As excited as I am to see if anything new comes of my TV debut, I am staying detached to outcomes.

Instead, I’m staying focused on rest and renewal now. And soon, I am bringing forth all I created anew from times spent in that waiting period before the TV opportunity arose.

To waiting in openness and trust,

Gail

PS–YOU were THE BEST part of being on national TV.  Hearing  from friends, family and clients across the country (and even the UK) throughout the day, and the week, touched a very deep place in my heart.  I felt so many of you there with me “in spirit” during this milestone moment of my career.

A HUGE THANK YOU…I am so blessed to have you in my life, and the worthiness community I am building.  WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER!

I took the above photos at Lake Crabtree, Cary, N.C. I love how the seagulls nested before they took flight. It is the same process for us in bringing forth new dreams: to get grounded first before we soar.

COMING IN JANUARY-EMPOWERING YOURSELF THROUGH GROUP COACHING

My recent appearance on CBS-TV is directly related to the dream I placed on my vision board for becoming a nationally recognized expert on worthiness.  In fact, 90 percent of the dreams I have placed on my vision boards in the past three years have come true. Why? I incorporate neuroscience and other unique tools in creating my vision boards and spend time getting VERY CLEAR beforehand.

I would like to help you do the same, using the power of group energy to accelerate the process.
