“Consciousness is only possible through change; change is only possible through movement.”
–Aldous Huxley, The Art of Seeing
Long ago, 15 years to be exact, I began coaching my clients on the sands of Crane Beach in Ipswich, MA, intuitively guided to bring them outside, in nature, and moving with intention for new outcomes. Literally, many began stepping into new stories.
I noticed during these walking sessions that my clients, who I also had been coaching by phone and in person, would often get huge “ahas” faster than when we were sitting and talking.
Movement helped get them out of their minds and into their bodies, and also access their innate wisdom.
To this day, my clients from the East Coast tell me those walking sessions were among their favorite coaching moments.
I used a unique technique I developed, based on my in-depth expertise in clearing subconscious limiting beliefs that block us from new dreams and life stories, to help them integrate mind, body and spirit.
Recently, while attending Tony Robbins “Unstoppable in 2016” Conference in Phoenix, AZ, I was reminded of the power of movement in changing our lives.
“Emotion is created by motion,” Tony said. “The way you move determines the way you feel.” He elaborated saying sitting and talking, the old way of trying to change, is one of the lowest vibrations of energy. During Tony’s three-hour presentation he had the audience up and moving through half of it.
Now that I live in Scottsdale, AZ, I am outside walking and hiking nearly every day (and cramming to get as much outside exercise in before the high summer temperatures arrive here in June). I am bringing my innovative movement coaching here to complement the phone sessions I also offer virtually.
For my East Coast clients, and new ones in other parts of the country who cannot walk or hike with me, I have developed a virtual program whereby I can guide you by phone on the words to release, and also other ones to integrate, to instill new beliefs as you move. Stepping into these possibilities helps form new neural pathways in the brain for success based on your attention and intention.
