Time Out

“Your hand opens and closes, opens and closes. If it were always a fist or always stretched open, you would be paralyzed. Your deepest presence is in every small contracting and expanding, the two as beautifully balanced and coordinated as birds’ wings.”

–Rumi, The Essential Rumi

I love to write, especially this blog. It’s “in my bones” as they say. I love sharing what I’m living or learning. Sometimes, I pause to integrate my new life lessons before writing about them. Afterwards, I often come back with a slew of new insights.

Right now, though, I’m opting to take a time out to celebrate big life transitions with those I love. My daughter is getting married in September, meaning I’ll be traveling a lot between now and then from Scottsdale, Arizona to Atlanta. My son is graduating in June, bringing me to Boston for ten days to spend special time with him honoring this milestone.

At the same time, I’m also engaged in a number of other work activities for my marketing clients requiring a more intense focus.

For me, part of excellence means being present to those I care about and others I serve. Hence, I’m putting my soulful writing “on hold” a bit as I balance out other commitments.   I may occasionally get a “news flash” to share (like if I get a publisher for my book).

In the meantime, I wish you all a happy new season of life, especially this spring for my friends in Boston who weathered quite the winter!

In recess and celebration,

I’m predicting a short break and a long list of people waiting to see your posts again. Wouldn’t the icing on the cake be a Publisher? YES YES YES! Enjoy this precious time in your life…hoping to see you at the wedding! 10 days – perhaps you should meet my friend who owns her own A.M. Radio station and promote that book! God Speed!
