Meet Gail

Born to teach.
Born to write from the soul.

Walking in to launch Born Worthy at Jabberwocky Bookshop — one of New England's largest independent bookstores — to a jam-packed room

Memories now flash back to me as a little girl, maybe seven or eight years old, rushing to my bedroom after coming home from school and teaching my "make-believe students" all I learned that day — with my older brother laughing in the next room, perhaps thinking here she goes again.

Little did I know I would be led many decades later — after going inward and spending much time in solitude, or what I call space for grace — to teach others how to claim their innate worthiness and power, embrace stillness and the unknown as a gift, and discover their authentic selves.

For more than 25 years, I have coached clients through all sorts of transitions — career and relationship changes, health challenges, reinventing themselves after a job loss, the death of a loved one, becoming an empty nester, starting a new business, overcoming imposter syndrome through promotions, or rediscovering new parts of themselves in retirement.

My teaching has evolved significantly, based on the wisdom of age and many adversities that have, like a diamond formed under pressure, polished and refined me. I now serve others with a deeper sense of love, compassion, and wisdom.

Getting Out of Isolation

My core teachings guide clients into claiming new stories that reflect their worthiness and authenticity — from which true joy and abundance on all levels arise. We are all "BORN TO BE ALIVE," and have a unique song to sing.

Pausing to Create Anew

"The pause — sometimes initiated by a life curveball like a health challenge, financial loss, death of a loved one, angst of starting a new business or career, or another one of the soul's promptings for redirecting life — is the sacred place of becoming who we truly are."

— Gail Kauranen Jones

I am a seeker who finds answers and inspiration by pausing — meditating, connecting with growth-minded people, journaling, or being in nature, which I call my church. More than half of my books' contents were written while walking, texting myself chapter titles and insights gained in silence.

An Intergenerational Team

Wisdom moving in both directions.

This work was never a solo act, and it was never meant to be one generation talking at another. Gail brings 25+ years of practice; her younger collaborators bring the platforms, fluency, and instincts of the generation this work exists to serve. That exchange is the model, not just the staffing — and it's why the message lands with parents, teens, educators, and teams alike.
